GREEN / MID / YELLOW / REDUpdated 2026-10-19. Facts in this article were re-verified against the live service the same day: the endpoint price ($0.01), the response shape and the settlement rail (x402 v1+v2, USDC on Base) all come from the production system, not from memory.
Token screening tools usually come in two flavors: free web dashboards that need a human to read them, and full-blown analytics subscriptions priced for funds. Neither fits an autonomous agent that needs one yes/no risk check before a swap. The token-verdict endpoint of the Money Reactor x402 API fills exactly this gap: one GET, one settlement, one JSON verdict. It reads the same signals a careful human would — liquidity depth, pair age, turnover, buy/sell flow imbalance — and compresses them into a four-grade scale with plain-language reasons.
GET https://money-reactor.makar52nn2016.workers.dev/api/token-verdict?address=0x<BASE_TOKEN> # unpaid request -> HTTP 402 challenge: $0.01 USDC on Base (eip155:8453) # settle with any EIP-3009 wallet / x402 SDK, retry with X-PAYMENT
The unpaid call is not an error — it is a machine-readable invoice. That is the whole x402 idea: the price, the recipient and the chain arrive in the response body (accepts[0]), so an agent can pay without any prior negotiation. POST with {"tokenAddress": "0x..."} is accepted as well, which makes integration with existing bot frameworks a one-liner.
GREEN — real liquidity, established pair, balanced flow: tradeable with normal care. MID — tradeable but thin or young: size positions accordingly. YELLOW — multiple risk signals combined: the reasons array explains each one. RED — the profile of a likely trap. The verdict paragraph is written for direct inclusion in agent reports, so a monitoring bot can forward it verbatim to its operator.
The public settlement ledger shows every sale with its on-chain tx hash. Two external buyer wallets have purchased the verdict family more than once — pre-trade screening is a repeated need, not a one-off. At $0.01 per screening, a bot can afford to check every candidate before every swap, which is exactly how the economics should work: risk checks priced in cents, no subscription, no account, nothing to leak.
Sibling endpoints for the same workflow: /api/honeypot?repo=owner/name ($0.002) scores a GitHub repository 0-100 for bounty-honeypot risk, and /api/verdict?repo=owner/name ($0.001) compresses it to a one-liner — useful when the "token" you are about to buy into is actually a funded GitHub gig.
